London Motor Show
Formerly known as the ‘London Motorfair’, this event takes place each year at Alexandra Palace and showcases the latest models from top car manufacturers, as well as classic and vintage cars. The date is yet to be announced for 2023, but it is usually held in the summertime, around May-June.
London Classic Car Show
This show is dedicated to classic and vintage cars and takes place at the ExCel London convention centre. Visitors can see a wide range of classic cars on display and attend talks and seminars about classic car restoration and collecting. This event is due to take place on 24th-26th February this year.
Goodwood Festival of Speed
This event takes place just outside London, in West Sussex, just a short train ride from London. It is one of the largest automotive events in the world, featuring a variety of cars, motorcycles, and racing vehicles. As well as introducing new cars from manufacturers, you can experience them racing around the Goodwood circuit at blistering speeds. For 2023, Goodwood will be held from 13th-16th July.
Exotic Cars London
This event is a gathering of exotic and high-performance cars, which takes place at locations around London. Visitors can see some of the rarest and most unique cars in the world up close and personal. This event is yet to announce its official date, but expect it around late summer.
London to Brighton Veteran Car Run
An annual event where veteran cars from the early 1900s make a 60-mile journey from London to Brighton. Here is a once in a lifetime chance to see vintage cars make a long trip in convoy. Due to take place this year on November 5th, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Electric Vehicle Show
An event dedicated to electric vehicles and sustainable transport, showcasing the latest in electric car technology. This has garnered much more attention over the last few years, with the automotive industry taking a favour towards electric cars. Held on 28th-30th November, this event will be later on in the year versus the others.
London Supercar Show
A display of the latest and greatest supercars from around the world, as well as demonstrations of their performance capabilities. As the name suggests, you can expect some of the fastest and rarest vehicles in the world. Taking place 19th - 20th May this year, this is one not to miss!
Concours of Elegance
An annual event showcasing some of the world's most valuable and rarest cars, as well as displays of historic motorsport vehicles. Located at Hampton Court, this is an exclusive event with the most elegant vehicles on display. Held in the summer, expect this event to take place 6th-8th June.
Peking to Paris Classic Car Rally
An annual event where classic cars make a journey from London to Paris, stopping at various points of interest along the way. Similar to the London to Brighton rally, although on a much bigger scale. For entry per team will set you back upwards of £40,000! Timetabled for 14th-16th April this year, but expect it to be potentially pushed to next year.
The British Motor Show
The British Motor Show takes place at Farnborough, just outside of London, and is usually in August each year. The show features a vast lineup of sports and supercars, entertainment stands and more! The show offers a dynamic mix of cars, celebrity guests, live arena displays, driving experiences and test drives over 4 days. Held 17th-20th August, this event is a great day out with family or friends.
